All self-paced, and virtual instructor-led training is available every day/ week of the year. You can begin at any time.
On-site and Live virtual training is available in EST, PST, CST, and the Hawaiian and Alaskan time zones.
Orton-Gillingham, Reading Intervention and Behavioral Intervention Training Type Descriptions:
Self-Paced
Self-paced training is available to begin on any day at any time. Because the training is self-led, you can begin training when you choose. There are no set scheduled dates to begin Self-Paced Training.
Instructor-Led
(2-Day Asynchronous, 4-Day Orton-Gillingham Training, Foundations of Reading, Advanced Morphology 1 & 2)
Instructor-led Led Training is exactly as described. All Instructor-led training is performed by an Orton-Gillingham Instructor. This type of training is available each day of the week and can be started as soon as you complete registration.
Please note that while this course has more leeway regarding the ability to pause your training and pick it up later, it is still very much so treated as if you are participating in Live-Virtual Instructor-Led training. The only difference is this is recorded. You will still have the ability to begin at any time, pause your training if needed, and still be in contact with an actual teacher whose sole job is to answer questions. It’s the best of both worlds.
Asynchronous Training (2-Day Live)
Asynchronous Training can be considered the best hybrid Orton-Gillingham Training, Asynchronous Training provides you with the option to participate in Live, Virtual or Live On-site training for 2 consecutive days and you have full access to the self-paced component of OG training, allowing you to refer to notes, watch video after training has been completed, ask questions during live training and feed off of the good energy of your peers.
It's a win-win for everyone involved.
4-Day Live Training
4-Day Live training is exactly as described. All participants are required to be present for 4 Live days of either Virtual or On-Site training. All participants are granted access to the online component of the 4-day training (not to be confused with self-paced training), which is used as an accompaniment for the 4-day live virtual or live on-site training.
Please note that no matter the type of Orton-Gillingham training you choose, it is 100% comprehensive providing you with 35 hours of Orton-Gillingham Instruction and making you eligible for Orton-Gillingham Certification training.
Self-Paced:
Available 365 days per year. You can register and begin at any time and on any day including national holidays.
2-Day Live-Virtual and Live-On-Site Training Dates:
(2-Live Days 16-Hours Live)
2-Day Live training is offered every week of the year except the weeks listed above. Training dates for 2-day/Asynchronous training are offered every Tuesday & Wednesday and every Thursday and Friday. 2-Day Live training is offered every week of the year except the weeks listed above. Training dates for 2-day/Asynchronous training are offered every Tuesday & Wednesday and every Thursday and Friday. Foundations of Reading:
1-Day Training (5-6 Hours)
Foundations of Reading is offered every week of the year except the weeks listed above. When choosing your dates for your foundations of reading training please keep in mind that training is offered every Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday and 3rd Saturday of every month.
Advanced Morphology 1:
1-Day Training (5-6 Hours)
Advanced Morphology 1 is offered every week of the year except the weeks listed above. When choosing your dates for your Advanced Morphology 1, please keep in mind that training is offered every Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday and every 3rd Saturday of every month.
Advanced Morphology 2:
1-Day Training (5-6 Hours)
Advanced Morphology 2 is offered every week of the year except the weeks listed above. When choosing your dates for your Advanced Morphology 2 training please keep in mind that training is offered every Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday and every 3rd Saturday of every month.
Functional Behavioral Assessment Training:
2-Day Training (14 Hours)
FBA training is available to schools that instruct across grades K-12. We only provide custom dates for this type of training. Because FBA training also includes a component that requires the development of a PLan-of-Action for your school or school district we require 2 days for training.
Training can be performed Live-Virtually or live on-site at your location for your individual school or school district. Pricing is by individual school or school district, not by person.
Social/Emotional Learning Training:
2-Day Training (14 Hours)
FBA training is available to schools that instruct across grades K-12. We only provide custom dates for this type of training. Because FBA training also includes a component that requires the development of a PLan-of-Action for your school or school district we require 2 days for training.
Training can be performed live virtually or live on-site at your location for your individual school or entire school district. Pricing is by individual school or school district, not by person
